What’s New in Dogenals — Announcement Draft
Doginals = spark. Dogenals = fire.
Dogenals is the first e standards drop for Dogecoin inscriptions: built on Doginals culture and tooling, but
clear that these new protocols still need first production adoption.
The e matters. Doginals came first; Dogenals keeps Doge at the center and puts everyone before “I” through
shared rules, neutral validation, and public implementation guidance.
This release draft introduces three composable systems:
- ÐMS — Dogenals Metadata Standard: shared metadata, file references, attestations, and RWA disclosure fields for Dogecoin inscriptions and title protocols.
- ÐMP DogeTag Offers: lightweight
OP_RETURNbuy-interest signals with recipient attention amounts, designed so owners can receive offer pings even when they are not connected to a marketplace. - Ðignal: encrypted Dogecoin-native messaging using compact
Ð:DIGsignals plus encrypted inscription payloads. - Ðocial v1.1: canonical public Social OS — one
engageverb (react + optional DOGE tip), follows, posts; supersedes ÐPulse/Doge Signals/ÐEcho for new social.
Together, these standards create a cleaner user journey:
- Assets can be described with portable ÐMS metadata.
- Buyers can signal interest with ÐMP DogeTag Offers.
- Collectors can negotiate with Ðignal encrypted context.
- Marketplaces can settle with ÐMP verification instead of private platform state.
- Creators can post publicly on Ðocial and earn small DOGE tips on every valid like.
The goal is not to replace every existing Doginals tool overnight. The goal is to give builders a neutral, precise, implementation-ready standard layer that wallets, indexers, explorers, and marketplaces can converge on.
Why It Matters
The early Doginals ecosystem proved demand. It also exposed fragmentation: inconsistent metadata, platform-specific offer flows, off-chain negotiation, and unclear trust boundaries.
Dogenals addresses that with:
- Clear
MUST/SHOULD/MAYrules. - Machine-readable schemas.
- OP_RETURN test vectors.
- Wallet notification guidance.
- Key-separation security guidance.
- Explicit separation between metadata, signaling, encrypted communication, and settlement.

Suggested Social Post
Doginals proved the spark. Dogenals is building the fire.
New in the Dogenals standards repo:
- ÐMS for portable metadata + RWA disclosures
- ÐMP DogeTag Offers for wallet-detectable buy-interest pings
- Ðignal for encrypted Dogecoin-native messaging
- Schemas, vectors, wallet guidance, and implementation notes
The mission: make Dogecoin inscriptions clearer, fairer, and easier for serious builders to implement.
